Afrotribune is a non-for-profit organization working to promote digital rights and online freedom in Africa. We focus on internet governance issues with the greatest impact on people’s lives online. We firmly believe that all stakeholders must get engaged, to ensure that the internet remains resilient, inclusive, open, pluralistic and democratic. Through our advocacy, campaigning and research, we work to promote greater transparency and integrity in all areas of internet policies, regulations and practices that respect users and create trusted online environments and experiences.
Our vision is an Africa in which the same rights that people enjoy offline are also protected online, in particular freedom of expression.
Our mission is to promote digital rights, policy transparency, accountability and integrity at all levels in Africa.
